Spiritual Disciplines: Radical Generosity – Living with an Open Hand

Today, our message from God’s Word will emphasize the importance of living a life of radical generosity, moving away from the traditional practice of tithing, and embracing a surrendered heart toward giving and living life with open hands.  The historical moment of the widow and her two mites is highlighted in Luke 21:1-4, illustrating that true generosity is about the spirit of giving rather than the amount donated.   We will be encouraged to assess their use of time, talent, and treasure, aligning our hearts with Christ and prioritizing God’s kingdom over the things of this world. Ultimately, the message calls for reevaluating giving as a joyful response to God’s blessings, fostering a community that mirrors Christ’s love and generosity.
