Some new and exciting things for our family of families to do in their homes together making Christ the subject, reclaiming what Hell has stolen, and following in the way of Jesus.
We have been blessed to see a lot of our families spreading encouragement to others together. Chalking sidewalks, writing letters, using zoom to read stories to grandkids, etc. This season has been full of challenges and nothing will be the same. We took the challenges of this season as a family of families and we fully believe we have become stronger in the Lord, and more full of God’s love for others. We are still more than conquerors for the Kingdom of God.
Thinking of what is written in Romans 8:37-39, “No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who lovedus. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor thingspresent nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (English Standard Version)
This has been on my, Jeannette Zoll’s, heart for some time and I feel that God is opening a door of opportunity for us as a family of families. Therefore, on Fridays we will be starting a family devotion on Facebook called Friday Family Faith Fun.
I will be providing a small devotion for families with a fun family challenge. I encourage you as a family to listen to the devotional and do the challenge. Take pictures and post them tagging the church and using the hashtags #withJesus #inCommunity #onMission #ChoGE
Also, on Monday, we will be having Monday Family Faith Fun for the next 20 weeks we will be posting the Word of the Week. This will be a passage of scripture families can learn and memorize together for that week. There will be 20 verses for 2020, with devotional resources helping you memorize them, and creative activities to help commit them to memory. If any of our kiddo’s can recite all 20 verses by the end of the 20 week period they will receive a special prize.
We encourage you to take videos of you as a family reciting the verse and sharing them with us on social media or through messages. Join us in bringing faith into our homes during and beyond the season we presently find ourselves in.
