Here is the audio version of our daily readings from our daily reading plan Seek Him for December 8th, 2020. Today we read the story of the day of Pentecost and the coming of the Holy Spirit empowering the Church in just the moment it needed to be empowered, with just the right way it needed to be empowered.
Showing us something very clearly from the event that unfolds in our Acts reading. God has a plan, and will act in accords with His plan through us His Church in just the way He is needed to act. God will empower us His Church for the work He has for us His Church in the exact moment such empowerment is needed for the fulfillment of His mission. If we would but walk in His will, which is what our readings beg us to ask. Are we living in the will of our Father, in the promised hope of Jesus, and in the empowerment of His Holy Spirit?
When we do just this we will find we are equipped right when we are needing of whatever equipping we are in need in. Praise be to God.
