Veritas ~ An Introduction to Truth

What is truth? Is it something internal to us, or is it something given to us? Is it what we simply believe really hard, or is it true even if we don’t see it as so? Is truth, truth no matter what?

Today we examine the question of the ages asked by Pilate in the Gospel of John during the trial of Jesus, “What is truth?” We seek its answer. More so, we seek an understanding of the very nature of truth. In understanding what truth truly is, we can know the truth and how truth is Jesus Christ. However, in this, we know the truth is hard to accept because the truth is powerful, convicting, transforming, and uncomfortable. In this truth demands, we change. Truth demands we repent. Truth demands we turn from the lies we have come to believe and hold dear and live in a completely different way. The way the truth gave us and made us to live in.

Even furthermore, to accept the truth for what truth is. There is always great sacrifice.
