A new and exciting ministry is kicking off this year at the Church of God of Exeter: the OCC Sewing Club and all are invited to join. Throughout the year, the OCC Sewing Club will work on various sewing projects for our annual Operation Christmas Child shoebox collections—projects like drawstring bags, pencil cases, menstrual pads, and other exciting things to help fill in those shoeboxes and share the Gospel around the world.
Our kickoff event will be at the Church of God of Exeter on Friday, March 14th, from 1 to 5 p.m. Come one, come all, and help us bless children and their families worldwide with the gift and talent of sewing.
All materials will be provided; you may need a sewing machine, as those are limited. However, if you do not have one, do not fret. We have ones you can use, and plenty of other tasks need to be done to help those sewing.
