Connecting with the Mission

Today, in our time to hear and respond to a message from God’s Word, we will emphasize the importance of community and collective participation in the church’s mission, reminding everyone that each individual plays a unique role in God’s work. We will encourage each other to embrace their calling and serve one another, highlighting that true fulfillment comes from giving of ourselves rather than consuming. Throughout this message, we will dismiss the notion that only a few should carry the burden, asserting that together, as a united body, we can make a significant impact locally and beyond. Inviting everyone to discover their place in the mission and actively engage in service for the glory of God.

Study Guide

1 – What does it mean to be part of a ‘family of families’ in the context of the church?
– Application: How can you contribute to building a sense of community in your own relationships, both inside and outside the church?

2 – In Ephesians 2:10, it says we are created for good works. How can we identify the ‘good works’ God has prepared for us?
– Application: Reflect on your own gifts and interests. How might they connect to serving others around you?

3 – What are some specific ways you can ‘know Christ and make Him known’ as this is our mission?
– Application: Can you think of a recent situation where you had the opportunity to share about your faith? How did you approach it?
