Fasting ~ How and How Not?

We are continuing where we left off last week. Today, we will continue to discuss the spiritual discipline of fasting, particularly how and how not to fast. In this, we will briefly recap last week’s message and learn about starting small, doing it for God, being missional and doing something, being intentional, and making sure the focus is on Jesus, not ourselves. We will learn how not to fast as we understand how to fast. We should be careful not to bite off more than we can chew, do it for ourselves, do nothing, approach it haphazardly, and keep the focus on us.
