Journey to the Cross ~ Grateful in the Right Thing or One?
In this sermon, “Grateful in the Right Thing or One?,” we explore our gratitude on the journey to the cross in the Gospel of Luke. We will highlight the importance of not only being grateful for blessings but also being grateful to and in Jesus. The story of the ten lepers shows the power of gratitude, with only one returning to give thanks to Jesus. In this, we will emphasize that gratitude to God is essential for living a life of authentic faith and how it is the marker of authentic faith in a world of ungratefulness.
