Parables of the Kingdom ~ Present but Not Yet

Today we start a brand new series launching from our former series, Resilient faith, where we are discussing how to live such faith in the tension and reality we today face.  In that, we have been given a wonderful present promise but not yet fully fulfilled.  A present life but with yet still more to come.  We live in a present but yet still to fully to come Kingdom of God.  In this, we live in great tension between our former lives and selves before Christ and our new lives and identity now in Christ.  As we eagerly and longingly await the second coming of Christ.

Today we spend time discussing the reality of this tension, and how God is aware of this tension, intends for this tension, gives us purpose in this tension, and more importantly is with us in the middle of it all.
