Parables of the Kingdom ~ The Wheat and the Tares

As we discussed last week, we will be looking at the various parables of the Kingdom this Lenten season. We are doing this to learn more about His Kingdom, and how it is, we are to be citizens of this Kingdom while still residents in a world opposed to such things. Acknowledging fully, we live in a present tension. The tension of what is and what is not yet. We live in a place in between as God’s Kingdom is present but still not yet.

How do we live and navigate well? Jesus spoke to us Words concerning just this. Words we begin to look at today with the parable of the wheat and the tares.
