The Peculiar Kingdom of God and it’s People ~ Blessed are the Poor in Spirit

Today we begin a long journey through the Sermon on the Mount.  As we enter into its opening Words may we have open and fresh hearts to receive the deep impactful message it has for us.  In particular, today we examine the beatitudes.  Mainly the first.  Blessed are the poor in spirit.
