The Peculiar Kingdom of God & its People ~ Radical Truth Telling

Today we continue with the I say to you sayings of Jesus in our series over the Sermon on the Mount.  We turn to the fourth ethical teaching of Jesus contained within this section and discover Jesus’ radical call to truthful living found in Matthew 5:33-37.

THINK
About how we have lived regarding our truthfulness. Are we known as a person of truth?

KNOW
Jesus calls His people to the highest standards of truth. We are to be people of truth in a world of falsehood.

DO
Seek and live in a manner worthy of our calling. Repent of any falsity we live in and become people of truth.
