The Work & Nature of the Holy Spirit ~ Gives Spiritual Gifts

In this final sermon in our series over the work and nature of the Holy Spirit. We will delve into the Holy Spirit’s role in bestowing spiritual gifts upon the believer, specifically examining Pentecost in Acts 2, where believers were empowered the very first time. Showing how the Holy Spirit dwells within believers to empower them for God’s mission and edify the body of Christ. Ultimately, the Holy Spirit does this so we can bring glory to God. In this, we will explore how Jesus’ promise to send the Holy Spirit as a Helper, setting the stage for Pentecost as its fulfillment. Spiritual gifts are bestowed for the empowerment of bold witness, edification of the body, and bringing glory to God.
