Today our readings form Judges begins again with the lament we have seen before a few times now that we mentioned last week, “In those days, when there was no king in Israel”, which is then followed by another story of great wickedness on the part of the people of Isreal showing us a continual need beyond ourselves to bring moral and spiritual authority in our lives. Helping us all the more see our ultimate need for Jesus.
